🐩 Is A Week In Prague Too Long

Save. Olya and I filled 10 days in October, no problem. Do some city walking/exploring, throw in a river cruise, some shopping, a museum, an opera, and a couple of day trips (Kutna Hora and Dresden are exciting day trips), and your week will be gone. Budapest is a bit too far. Report inappropriate content. Crowds choke Old Town Square in Prague, making it hard to enjoy the exquisite architecture. I wish I could say that it met my expectations. The architecture of Old Town Square was stunning, including the magnificent Disneyesque Our Lady before Tyn Church, whose twin spires peek over the square like a Gothic castle, and the equally beautiful baroque St. Nicholas Church. Answer 1 of 4: Have a week or less. Can I see Prague in 3 days? Or will I need 4, 5 or more? If I can do Prague in 3 days, was also thinking about a side trip to Vienna. Can I cover Vienna in 2-3 days? Is it worth the train ride and running around? Thanks! Intercity: A long-distance option for within the country, also with a 1st and 2nd class. Rychlik: The most common local train network. Fast, and some offer sleeper options. Osobni: A low-cost option only with 2nd class, stopping in smaller villages and towns. Trains are a great way to take some of the wonderful day trips from Prague too. Answer 1 of 10: I'm currently booked 4 nts (3 1/2 days) in Prague and 3nts or 2 1/2 days in Vienna in July. Should I reverse this and spend more time in Vienna. I am about to commit to hotels and just cannot decide which deserves more time. Answer 1 of 11: I am thinking of visiting prague in may with my girlfriend. never been before, but heard good things. Is there much to do for 7 days? i like sight seeing but also like scenery and day trips.. would it be worth getting a train to budapest or People head to Prague just to party. The city has long been famous as a beer drinking capital, and although prices are higher than they once were, the fun is the same. The nightlife vibe is great any night of the week, but weekends tend to be the most active. There's a variety of activities in the evening in Strasbourg. The key to dressing in Prague is layers! The weather changes so often, and it can sometimes be chilly in the early morning, super hot in the afternoon, and freezing at night. A light, weatherproof jacket is a great option. Wear short or long-sleeve t-shirts underneath with a pashmina or extra warmth, and you're good to go. It is not that long time ago when beer was cheaper than water, but it is not possible anymore according to the law - but still, beer is much cheaper in the Czech Republic than abroad. Prague is a popular destination for young guys from Great Britain or Germany who arrive in Prague to drink because it is so cheap for them. Is 10 days too long for just Vienna and Budapest Hello TravelerDC We spent 2 weeks in Vienna last year . . . and still My last trip included Prague but we were fortunate to have 13 full I'd say definitely not too long. I've spent a week in Prague on more than one occasion (in 2007, 2009, and 2010), each time was very enjoyable. Even if you don't take any other trips, there's a ton to see in Prague itself. And on the off-chance you get bored, you can always scout out the neighboring towns like Tabor and Kutna Hora. Weather in Prague in summer can get quite unpredictable. Prepare for warm temperatures but don’t forget long sleeves and pants too, just in case. Obviously, Prague is a great destination that won’t break the bank and it’s very unlikely you’d experience a heat stroke here. So come on over! qR6b.
