✨ Mercedes No Power When Accelerate
Over time, the issue became more noticeable and more frequent. It seemed that when I would press the accelerator down to pick up speed fast, the car would violently jerk in 3rd, 4th, 5th and sometimes even 6th gear. The jerking would not stop until I let go of the accelerator. The RPM also stays steady around 4000-5000.

Mercedes Mechanic: Pete, Mercedes Mechanic replied 7 years ago In some cases the light would remain on if the computer detects the pump at fault or a lean running issue with the engine but this isnt the case all of the time. The pump can be faulty still causing this issue here.
Well, there ain’t no such thing as a “sealed transmission”. Mercedes came out with a service bulletin changing that nonsense when they started having a lot of tranny failures. But that was a while ago. Depending on when built and whether you use red or blue tranny fluid, the change interval is 39,000 miles (red) or 70,000 miles (blue).
Hi there. In many cases, when you have an issue with the car accelerating and the check engine light comes on, it’s caused by a mechanical problem with either a drive-system, fuel or ignition system component. The light is triggered when a sensor detects a fault somewhere in the car. It can be as minor as a fuel injector that is dirty ranging
1. You Drive a Stick Shift Car. This isn’t a problem, just an effect of driving a stick shift vehicle. If you’re still learning, you might be going through some jerking as you shift through each gear. However, it’s common in manual transmission, so as you get used to the controls, you’ll have a smoother ride. 2.
Final words. There are several possible reasons why a car won’t accelerate after battery change. The battery connections may not have been properly tightened, or you may have damaged the electronic systems. However, depending on your car make and model, something else may prompt the issue. If your vehicle won’t accelerate after a battery
1. Weak Battery. If your GLC300’s engine won’t crank or cranks very slowly, then the most likely culprit is weak or dead 12v battery. Investigating more closely and doing a battery voltage test will clarify whether the starting problem is due to the battery. A test can be done to measure the voltage between the battery poles, check the acid
I have a Merc E320 cdi. auto. ( 2003 ) Ist problem - when driving along at any speed the car will lose power and only accelerate at a very slow rate, even if I revert to manual gear changes. The probl …
We’ve analyzed the solutions for some of the most prominent scenarios of this problem. Take a look at what we’ve found out. And you’d be able to find a way out of your engine rpm not going up. Scenario 1. Vehicle Sputtering. The vehicle misses and sputters at medium to hard throttle. Won’t go beyond 3000 rpm.
Same for your fuel filter. If your filter isn't letting enough fuel pass through, your engine isn't going to accelerate the way you need. Trouble starting your engine is another indicator that your fuel filter is clogged. If you've got a full tank of diesel and your engine won't start, there's a good chance your filter may need changing.
This is often a sign of low transmission fluid or a faulty transmission control solenoid. As you know, automatic transmissions use pressurized hydraulic fluid to change gears. Every time a gear change is required, the car’s computer activates a transmission solenoid, which directs transmission fluid into the valve body to engage the correct gear.
